1. After you created the customer in the "Creating a new customer" article, you were taken to the detail page for the new customer.  Ensure you are on the "Monitors" tab.
  2. Click the "Add a new monitor" button.
  3. Enter a Monitor Name on the Basic Details tab.  Note the monitor name must be between 4 and 100 characters long and contain only lowercase letters, numbers, underscores(_) and hyphens (-).  Also, the Monitor Name cannot be changed once created, so ensure it's named appropriately.   
  4. Fill in all fields for the Technical Contact Details and custom fields where added.  These fields will be available in the reporting and in any automation that may be configured, they can also be used as contact details for any issues with the installed monitor.
  5. Click the "Save" button.
