Device Monitor Status – Description and use
Every device can be set to 1 of 4 monitoring statuses
Preferred:
1. Fully Enabled - Data is collected and consumable requests and device alert emails are sent, and the device will be included in all reports. The device can therefore be fully managed by the dealer
2. Reports only (Default) - Data is collected, but no consumable requests or device alert emails are sent. The device will appear in asset monitoring and billing reports. This device is therefore available for presales opportunities but not actively managed for supplies.
Also Available:
3. Consumables only - Data is collected and consumable requests/emails are generated, but device alerts will not be sent as emails. The device is excluded from billing reports.
4. Disabled - Data is collected but only stored; no consumable request or alert emails are sent, and the device will not appear in any reports except the asset list.
This is summarized in the table below:
Alerts sent via email | Consumable requests generated and sent via email (if configured) | Consumable Request reports | Count/Usage reports | Alert History report | Non-Contactable Devices report | Asset List report | |
